NAILS & MAKE-UP TRAINING

Sage By Dee Entrepreneurs Academy is to provide our students with a quality training that is up-to-date with today’s trends while using industry quality tools.

Throughout the Nails and Make-Up Training program, students will receive supportive reviews of their progress to encourage and reinforce the necessary knowledge and skills needed to successfully graduate and be part of the leading beauty industry.

NAILS:

Orientation: The student’s will be introduced to Sage By Dee Entrepreneurs Academy teaching staff and 

teaching format, Entrepreneurs Academy rules and fellow students, materials necessary, and a brief

history of nail technology.

Anatomy/Physiology: The anatomy of the hand, arm and foot are taught. Diseases and disorders of the nail and skin.

Disinfection/Sanitation: Students are taught the importance of sanitation to protect

themselves and the public.

Equipment/chemicals: This lesson covers implements, cosmetics, products, along with chemistry and safety.

Manicure/Pedicure procedures: The procedures necessary to become a successful nail technician will be taught.

Individual sculptured nails/nail tips: These lesson will identify all supplies, chemistry, application, and safety procedures for nails. Acrylic, gel, wraps, nail tips and electric filing techniques.

Individual removals: This lesson will teach the student how to remove the artificial nails.

Individual nail wraps: In this lesson student will learn how to wrap the nail.

Professional ethics: Students are taught proper conduct in the manicuring profession as it relates to clients, co-workers and business dealings.

Business practices: The advantages and disadvantages of business practices, client

consultation, salesmanship and retail.

Personal hygiene: The importance of a professional appearance will be explained.

Safety: These lessons will explain safety precautions and procedures as it relates to

infection, diseases and sanitation.

MAKE-UP:

Our makeup artistry  course will teach you how to apply professional makeup for a variety of different looks including daytime, night time, film, and photoshoots.

At Sage by Dee Entrepreneurs Academy we introduced you to the world where you will study topics such as makeup tools, working with brushes, face, beauty makeup and running your own business.  

 You will learn why people use makeup and work as makeup artists. You will study the use of makeup techniques to enhance the eyes, lips, skin and understand the importance of learning makeup skills and practising makeup techniques.

Interactive topics, including images and assessment questions are designed to provide you with a comprehensive grounding in the makeup artist profession, enabling you to stand out from the rest as your own brand.
